Flight Nurse requirements


DESCRIPTION:

EDUCATION:
Education: RN, BNS preferred.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Five years of nursing experience in critical care and/or emergency nursing. Transport nursing experience preferred. REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Ability to make independent, clinically and operationally competent decisions in a challenging environment. Ability to adapt to stressful situations; capable of identifying strengths and weaknesses and seeks appropriate resources. Able to lead a team approach to patient care. Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills are critical.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

   •   State of Ohio Nursing License required. Will need to apply for Indiana and Kentucky Nursing License once hired.
   •   Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
   •   Trauma Nursing Core Course ( TNCC) or Transport Nursing Advanced Trauma Course (TNATC) or their equivalents required.
   •   Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or their equivalents need to be obtained within the departmental orientation period.
   •   Relevant certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN or CTRN) required.
   •   EMT- B or EMT-P encouraged

Mobile Intensive Care Nurse requirements


DESCRIPTION:
Hiring Two PRN (Flex) Nurses

EDUCATION:
Registered Nurse, BSN preferred

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Five years of nursing experience in critical care/emergency nursing. Transport nursing experience preferred. LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

   •   Current State of Ohio Nursing License.
   •   Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required upon hire. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or TNATC, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or their equivalencies to be obtained within initial probationary period.
   •   Active, unrestricted Drivers License with no more than 4 accrued points.

EMT - B Certification, National Registry preferred.

Five years of Emergency Medical Service experience as an EMT- B . Intra-facility transport experience preferred. REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Ability to make independent, clinically and operationally competent decisions in a challenging environment. Ability to adapt to stressful situations; capable of identifying strengths and weaknesses and seeks appropriate resources. Able to lead a team approach to patient care. Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Communication Specialists, Air & Mobile requirements


DESCRIPTION:
Currently hiring .3/Nights (12 hrs week) and part time Day shift.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma. College Degree in relevat field encouraged.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Five years of Emergency Medical Services, Critical Care or related field. Direct patient care healthcare provider experience preferred. Communications Specialist experience preferred. Ability to make independent, clinically and operationally competent decisions in a challenging environment. Ability to adapt to stressful situations; Able to participate in an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care. Effective communication skills including strong verbal and interpersonal skills. Understanding and experience with Informational Systems and Technology, Computer Aided Dispatch Systems, personal and networking computers.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
1. Current EMT-Paramedic certification (or a RN license) required. 2. National Association of Air-Medical Communications Specialist (NAACS) certification received within two years of being hired. *Associate is responsible for keeping all required licensures and certifications active 3.
